While winter starts to set in on us in the North, it is a good time to have a look at some sailing destinations we can do in under a week from our home Marina starting in the spring of 2013. Google earth is an amazing tool for research and planning as most of you know. Google earth lets us preview potential destinations, historical sights and accommodations without having to do much more than start up our computer. Check out a potential trip we are considering as both of us have always wanted to see Mackinaw island and its famous bridge. Enjoy!!
