April-May news

Happy Memorial day!

I personally would like to thank all of our country's veterans for their service to me, my family and this great country-hug a vet today!! The daily freedoms we enjoy (and sometimes take for granted) come at the expense of these great people and their families.

After having our latest sailboat deal fall through (again!!), it looks like we will be taking a rest from sailboat ownership this season. I have a number of opportunities to race around my area and plan on taking advantage of those starting next week! I have been able to do some spring water skiing already and it has been nice-- and cold!!

Last weekend, the wife and I decided to jump on the Harley and take a long ride to the Quack Shack located near Ferryville WI, on the Mississippi river-- my co captains' weekend retreat aptly named for his affinity for hunting duck. It's a 3 1/2 hour ride one way along the Wisconsin river which is amazingly scenic and serene. What great therapy it was for both of us! We took a few stills and some video on our go pro so enjoy the blast of WI 35 from Prarie Du Chien to Ferryville!
