Phase 1- The beginning

Preparations have begun and the search for the boat is on. Which Open (ECO) 60 will it be? After getting some sound advice from Sir Robin Knox Johnson, race director and famous solo ocean racer, I am proceeding with caution. I have made contact with the owners and I will be viewing Le Penguoin, the 2011 Velux 5 oceans race winner. The boat is located in Charleston South Carolina. The search will start with this boat.
